Do PrECOG trials require CTEP approval?
Since PrECOG trials are not NCI funded trials they do not require CTEP approval.

Does PrECOG offer membership?
PrECOG does not offer membership. To participate in PrECOG studies, you must be a member of ECOG in good standing.

What type of sites participate in PrECOG clinical trials?
PrECOG has an established network of premier sites ranging from academic institutions and large medical centers to an extensive network of community centers through Community Clinical Oncology Programs (CCOPs), and Cooperative Group Outreach Programs (CGOPs).

If my site participates in ECOG studies, can I participate in PrECOG studies?
Yes, but PrECOG must qualify your center and invite you to participate due to the limited number of sites that may be required for a particular study. If your site is interested in participating in PrECOG studies, please contact Karen Padilla at kpadilla@precogllc.org.

Will my site get ECOG credit for patient enrollment to PrECOG studies?
ECOG sites will receive credit towards the ECOG annual institution evaluation for patients that are enrolled to PrECOG studies.  Credit is assessed over a 12 month period, typically beginning in March of each year.  ECOG Main Institutions are required to enroll 50 patients per year on ECOG studies, and enrollment to PrECOG studies will count towards meeting this requirement.  Sites are not reimbursed by ECOG for enrollment to PrECOG studies.  PrECOG enrollment will not count towards the CCOP credit requirements.
